COOLROOMS PALACIO DE ATOCHA, Madrid – A Smart Stay in the City
About the Hotel
Historic Palace Accommodations

The 50 rooms feature soundproof walls, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, minibars, and tea/coffee makers. Some suites include separate living areas, terraces, and spa baths. The iconic Suite 19 preserves original wallpapers from the Madrid Royal Factory and Carrara marble fireplace fronts.
El Patio Dining

Breakfast offers pastries, toast with tomato and olive oil, and fresh juices. Dining occurs in the courtyard with a fountain or in the palace's original cellars, which host live music sessions.

The hotel features a plunge pool that appears and disappears in the central courtyard. Pool Garden serves signature cocktails, wines, and rare whiskies with light dishes. The property hosts theater performances in Suite 19, photography exhibitions, and flamenco shows. Guests can access the Arab baths, the only such facility in Madrid.

Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel rooms are beautifully furnished and quiet, offering a great stay. The location is ideal, close to attractions and dining spots. Though the dining experience could be improved, the overall value for money is noteworthy.
The hotel had beautiful, clean, and elegant rooms with character, although they were a bit noisy at times. The location was convenient for exploring the city on foot and accessing public transportation, making it great for a pre-dinner drink and a relaxed vibe. The dining options were basic but sufficient, and the facilities were well-maintained.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed and very quiet, although the price could be a bit high. The service was exceptional, making up for it in value. The central location is a major plus, offering easy access to key attractions in Madrid.
The hotel had beautiful, spacious, and clean rooms with really great beds and decor. However, it needed more lighting. The service was top-notch, and the location was really central and great for exploring the city. The dining experience was excellent, and the facilities were superb.
Feeling like royalty, our room was even ready earlier than expected, adorned with lovely extras like chocolates and luxurious Molton Brown toiletries. The decor was a beautiful mix of styles, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. Although the room was exquisite, the dining options left something to be desired, but overall a great stay.
